At TackOn Table, a product of TackOn LLC, we stand behind the quality of our restaurant POS hardware and software. This policy outlines our refund and return procedures for POS equipment and subscription services.


Hardware Returns

30-Day Return Policy

Return eligible POS hardware within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.

Eligible Products:

  • POS terminals and tablets
  • Customer-facing displays
  • Self-service ordering kiosks
  • Receipt printers
  • Cash drawers
  • Card readers and payment terminals
  • Kitchen display systems (KDS)
  • All TackOn Table branded hardware and accessories

Return Requirements

Hardware must be:

  • Returned within 30 days of delivery date
  • In original, undamaged packaging
  • In like-new condition with no physical damage
  • Accompanied by all original accessories, cables, and documentation
  • Free of food residue, stickers, or modifications

How to Return Hardware

  1. Contact support@tackontable.com or call (833) 882-2566
  2. Provide your order number and reason for return
  3. Receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number
  4. Ship using the prepaid label we provide

Important: Returns without an RMA number may be refused or delayed.

Return Shipping Costs

  • Defective or Incorrect Items: Free return shipping
  • Change of Mind: Customer pays return shipping
  • Damaged During Shipping: Contact us within 48 hours with photos

Restocking Fees

  • Original unopened packaging: No restocking fee
  • Opened items in like-new condition: 15% restocking fee
  • Missing accessories or damaged packaging: Up to 25% restocking fee

Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Refunds processed within 5-7 business days
  • Refunds issued to original payment method
  • Email confirmation sent when refund is processed
  • Allow 5-10 additional business days for bank processing

Non-Returnable Items

  • Hardware damaged due to misuse, accidents, or unauthorized modifications
  • Items without original packaging or accessories
  • Custom-configured or specially ordered equipment
  • Items returned after 30 days
  • Hardware with removed or altered serial numbers

Hardware Warranty

1-Year Limited Warranty

All TackOn Table POS hardware includes a 1-year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

Warranty Covers:

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Hardware malfunctions not caused by user damage
  • Component failures under normal operating conditions

Warranty Does Not Cover:

  • Physical damage from drops, spills, or accidents
  • Damage from power surges or improper electrical supply
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage from unauthorized repairs or modifications
  • Software issues unrelated to hardware defects

Warranty Claims

  2. Describe the issue and provide order number or serial number
  3. Our team will troubleshoot and determine if replacement is needed
  4. Eligible claims receive replacement unit at no cost
  5. Return defective unit within 14 days of receiving replacement

Software Subscription Refunds

30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

New customers receive a full refund of their initial subscription payment if canceled within 30 days. This guarantee applies to first-time purchases only.

Refundable

  • Initial subscription payment (within 30 days for new customers)
  • Billing errors or duplicate charges
  • Service outages exceeding 24 consecutive hours (prorated credit)

Non-Refundable

  • Renewal charges after initial 30-day period
  • Plan upgrades or downgrades
  • Add-on services and integrations
  • Setup fees and training services (unless service was not provided)
  • Partial months after cancellation

Request a Subscription Refund

  1. Email support@tackontable.com with account email and reason
  2. Include relevant order or invoice numbers
  3. Refund requests reviewed within 2 business days
  4. Approved refunds processed within 7-10 business days

Exchanges

We offer hardware exchanges within 30 days of delivery:

  • Same Product Exchange: Free for defective or damaged items
  • Different Product Exchange: Subject to price difference and return shipping costs

Cancellation Policy

Hardware Orders

  • Cancel before shipping for full refund
  • Shipped orders follow standard return process
  • Custom or specially configured orders cannot be canceled once production begins

Software Subscriptions

  • Cancel anytime through account dashboard or by contacting support
  • Service continues until end of current billing period
  • No refunds for partial billing periods (except under 30-day guarantee)

Exceptions

  • Refunds not issued for accounts violating our Terms of Service
  • We reserve the right to refuse returns not meeting stated conditions
  • Special promotions may have different refund terms (stated at time of purchase)
